Integrated Circuit Sensors

An integrated circuit sensor uses a small temperature transducer to convert temperature input into a proportional current output. These sensors are designed for use in temperatures from -67¡Æ to 302¡Æ F (-55¡Æ to 150¡Æ C) where solid state reliability and accuracy are required. Sensor output (within this temperature range) is 1µA/¡ÆK. These sensors are also useful in remote sensing applications, as the high impedance current output makes them insensitive to voltage drops over long lines.
